Well, hello!

My name is Stephanie Parks (Montemurro) and I am the founder behind Dead Potters Society.

I graduated college in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. During college, I was able to explore other mediums such as metalworking and bookmaking as well as study art history, focusing on ancient civilizations.

After years of experimenting with various mediums, playing with clay takes the (mud)cake.

What We Do

At Dead Potters Society, we believe that each treasured piece tells a story, adding a sense of warmth, uniqueness and authenticity to your home.

Our collections are inspired by ancient mythology, astrology, and the aesthetic principle of wabi-sabi. Just as ancient stories captivate our imagination, our pieces evoke a sense of connectedness with
functional and decorative pieces created by our ancestors throughout history.

Each creation is heirloom worthy, meticulously crafted, and handmade in small batches.

What's with the name?

Like the movie of a very similar title, it’s about appreciating the arts and history, our humanity, and living life in a way that makes it #worthit
